How do I change Personal injury attorney’s ?
I was in an accident on July 26,2007 my attorney assistant never sent the owner of the car any request for information just her boyfriend who was driving no one is answering and here I am injured? Please help?

It’s a little early for your attorney to have served discovery on the other side yet. You can of course change personal injury attorneys – just tell him he’s fired and then go see another one.

you can get another attorney but its kind of hard to change attorneys right in the middle of a case,id call the one i had and see whats going on with them first,good luck.
If you change attorney’s midstream of a case, the first one will probably charge a huge amount for any work they’ve done so far and may sue you for breach of contract. Be very careful in finding out what is legal to do in this situation…could be even more of a headache. Just pressure the one you have for actions to be taken and be patient…cases like yours can sometimes take years to resolve. Document everything and any contact you have with the lawyer.
