There are various reasons why a person may seek the assistance of an attorney. Cases run the gamut from personal injury involving car crashes and slip and falls accidents to medical malpractice and product liability. Many times victims are killed as a result of another’s misdeed, whether the person was driving recklessly or was charged with drunk driving. The death may have been unintentional, but under the law, the person responsible must give the victim’s surviving family members what is rightfully theirs.
In other words, the family can sue to get the proper monetary damages they are entitled to whether it be money to cover hospital and funeral costs or lost income, lost benefits or pain and suffering.
